Inselspital Bern — Insel Gruppe A university hospital. The group comprises several sites: Inselspital Universitätsspital Bern, Spital Aarberg, Spital Belp, Spital Riggisberg and the Berner Reha Zentrum. More than 10,400 staff in total and around 900 beds. The Inselspital traces its history back to 1354, when the Bernese widow Anna Seiler endowed a hospital in her will, and its new main building is fittingly named the Anna-Seiler-Haus after her.
